NSS GEHU has always been at the forefront of initiatives that contribute to the betterment of the environment and the community. One such impactful endeavor is our cleanliness drive, aptly named Clean Doon Green Doon

It is a campaign that embodies our commitment to maintaining the ecological health of our surroundings while fostering a sense of responsibility towards our environment. This drive has left an indelible mark on the beautiful landscape of Doon Valley.

The primary objective of the Cleanliness drive is to promote cleanliness and environmental consciousness among our community members. This initiative is not just about picking up litter; it's a comprehensive effort to create a cleaner and greener Doon.

Through this drive, we have mobilized our dedicated volunteers to sweep the streets, collect litter, and engage in proper waste disposal practices. This hands-on approach not only tidies up our city but also sets an example for responsible waste management. It brings people together, instills a sense of pride in their city, and encourages them to be stewards of the environment.

Together, we are making our city, Dehradun cleaner and greener, ensuring a healthier and more vibrant future for all. Commemorating Gandhi Jayanti, a mega cleanliness drive saw enthusiastic volunteers collect a total of 1500 kgs of garbage. These efforts underscore NSS's significant strides in supporting the Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.
