Uttarakhand Government's Voter Awareness Campaign Sparks Enthusiasm Among Women

In a bid to promote women's participation in the democratic process, the Uttarakhand Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, organized a vibrant voter awareness campaign at Bannu Race Course, Dehradun. The event, which witnessed a strong turnout of women from diverse backgrounds, was marked by the active involvement of Graphic Era Hill University's NSS volunteers, highlighting their commitment to social welfare causes.

With over 325 volunteers from various university departments, Graphic Era Hill University played a pivotal role in amplifying the campaign's message of empowerment through voter awareness. The enthusiastic participation of both male and female volunteers, adorned with colorful posters and banners, underscored their dedication to fostering a culture of civic engagement.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami commended the resilience and achievements of Indian women across different spheres of life. He emphasized the importance of exercising voting rights as a means of shaping the nation's future and honored influential women leaders for their contributions.

The rally also featured a women's bike rally, symbolizing the strength and freedom of women in society. To ensure the comfort and safety of participants, arrangements such as first aid facilities, toilets, and refreshments were meticulously organized.

The campaign's impact extended beyond the city limits, with an impressive turnout of 6000 girl students from various educational institutions participating in the rally. This concerted effort to promote voter awareness reflects a significant step towards inclusive governance and societal progress.
